gordons4 Posted September 3, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2010 We have sailed on 2 HAL cruises--Zaandam with an outside room and Oosterdam with an aft (VA) verandah cabin. We are currently booked on a Panama Canal cruise with Celebrity, but looking at switching to HAL and the Rotterdam. We love the aft cabins and that is a must on this next cruise. We are looking at booking an aft verandah suite (A). Anybody have any opinions on those cabins? They are located on both the Verandah and Navigation deck--is one preferable over the other? Thanks so much for your help! Sheri

I loved it. Donna
Cinder Again Posted September 3, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 3, 2010 I was in 7059 on Navigation. It wasn't noisy, but I will say, the balcony was flooded most of the trip (I have no idea why, looked like bad engineering to me) that was the last cabin on the Starboard side. The real aft cabins seemed to be fine. But it was very quiet, so no hesitations about either floor IMHO. I'd just steer clear of 7059.
