Price Keeps Going Up

I keep checking the prices for my cruise on the Freedom in October. In the past week, the price has been creeping up...about $30 for my particular category. Is this an indication that the sailing is filling up?

I would say yes.

cruises always fill up but id guess that they adjust the price up or down according to the whole supply in demand theory.

we booked the Freedom today as the rates went up 40.00 over the past week!!

we booked our jun 2011 cruise back in may and the price has crept up $50....glad i booked when i did. sheesh!

ya'll are lucky my conquest in Nov has gone up $100 pp from what we paid!!! :eek:

$140 higher each per person now than when we booked in January for our upcoming October cruise on the Valor. We even had a credit back in March cause the prices had gone down. Now up up and up!

Our Jan cruise just came in $20 less though and we sent in our price protection claim yesterday.

We have found by booking in Jan and Feb, prices only go up from there usually. We're early bookers and planners.

We have Freedom booked for February, it has crept up $50pp since we booked 3 weeks ago. Glad we booked when we did!

Our MR cruise has gone up $380pp - we booked early saver and I keep checking for price drops - LOL. Obviously that's not going to happen - we sail in 3 weeks time.

Mid-October 5 day on the Destiny is 1/2 and 1/2; our 4G inside cabin has gone down ($50.00/pp credit on Early Saver!!) but our 8D balcony just keeps going up.

Cabin prices increase as the cruise nears because most people don't book very early regardless of incentives like Early Saver.

Quite often in the last days before the cruise there'll be a price drop as the push is on to fill the ship so keep watching...
