Let me start by telling you this was my 10th cruise and my husbands 7th and our 6th Carnival Cruise. We cruised with 2 other couples and we are all between 40 and 60 years old. I'm a little partial to Carnival but for a good reason, they offer the best deal for the money you spend! Their food is always good and the entertainment outstanding. Until the Miracle we have always been quite satisfied with our other Carnival Cruises, but the Miracle surpasses all other ships we sailed on including the Pride which use to be our favorite. We even did the Pride 2 times. Once in Florida and the other time in California. We felt the Miracle was extremely clean, friendly and the food was excellent. The Beatles show was outstanding. It was like "old home week" for us because the Captain and our waiter and a lot of the crew had been on the Pride when we first sailed her out of Port Canaveral in 2002 when she was brand new. I asked our waiter where the Prides original Maitre de was and she said he had retired. That's too bad because he was a great Maitre de and he really kept his staff busy entertaining us. He even sang a few songs himself. Anyone who took the original Pride cruises out of Florida know what I'm talking about.

This was only a 3 day cruise, but it gave us time to get away with friends and relax and also to see the Miracle. For 2 of our friends this was their first cruise and I know it won't be their last. They are already talking about another one in the spring. We booked a balcony guarantee through Carnival and were upgraded to the Panarama Deck with an extended balcony. We were quite happy. The first timers were upgraded from an inside cabin to a obstructed balcony, which they said was great. I thought that was a great upgrade for first time cruisers. In Nassau the girls went shopping (of course) and then we all went over to the Atlantis Resort and saw the sights there. The Aquarium was realy nice and my hubby won a little in the Casino which made his day.

A couple of our friends got engaged on the first night on board. He took her to Nick and Nora's to ask her the big question, but it was too busy and he decided to wait till he found a more private spot on the ship and then he asked her. She was thrilled and afterwards we all had champagne in our cabin to celebrate. I think the wedding should be on board a Cruise Ship so we can all go on another cruise together. I'm voting for Hawaii! They are thinking about it!

Boarding was a breeze. We arrived at the Port at 10:30 and were on the ship at 11:30 and were eating on the deck at 12:15. The best boarding we have ever have. The Pride boarding in April was a different story! Going through customs on return was also great. No hold up at all. We were bussed to the parking garage because we came back to a different dock than we left from, but that ran smoothly too. I heard some people complaining but I didn't think it was bad at all. We were off the ship by 9:15 AM and driving home. That to me is a Miracle in itself. Thanks Miracle for the miracle. There really isn't enough space here to tell you everthing we crammed into 3 days, but we had a ball. If you would like to ask me any questions I will be happy to do so.

Carnival thank you for a very organized operation and a wonderful vacation. We will be back!!!

We are going on a family cruise on the Miracle on July 10th. There will be 23 of us (so far!!). I would love to see your pictures. It is just giving me an error right now. We are booked in an extended balcony on Upper Deck Aft. I'll be watching to see if the pictures start working. Thanks.

Thanks too for a wonderful review. We sail in 117 days (but who's counting). We have seen some pictures of this beautiful ship and can hardly wait. If anyone is interested in seeing the pictures the Carnival Rep sent us let me know and I will have my hubby post them if we can. They are really great pictures. Glad your cruise was a good one.

You mentioned it was only a 3-day. Did you depart from Tampa?

I'll be sailing in July with mom, aunt and my daughter. We're really excited about it. All of us have sailed before. Mom's celebrating retirement. Aunt will have had her 50th wedding anni the week before. Daughter and I are going just to go.

I agree with you. The friends should be married on board ship! Good luck convincing them.

KK, Glad to hear you also had a wonderful cruise on the Miracle. We were onboard the 12/12/04 cruise. This was our third with Carnival. We also booked an inside guaranteed cabin, and were upgraded to a balcony on the Main deck. We were about ten steps from the gall elevators in the Atrium. This was the best cruise ever. I know all of those, who are waiting, will enjoy the Miracle very much. Wish I was going again with you. Happy sailing.

ppecham- No we sailed out of Ft Lauderdale (Everglades). It was only 3 days because they were on their way back to Tampa after being at the Super Bowl. I guess they decided to make use of the trip around the Keys and they had a 3 nighter out of Ft Lauderdale. I really wanted to see the boat but didn't have 7 days at this time to do it, so this worked out great. I would do the Tampa cruise just to be on the Miracle again. I wish I was there now. Hope you enjoy her as much as we did. If you have any other questions let me know.

Just thought I'd let you all know, there is a happy ending to my story. The couple who got engaged on the Miracle will now get married in September and we are all going on their honeymoon cruise on the Glory on Sept 10. In fact the cruise is growing and growing with all their honeymoon well wishers. Last count we had 17 couples going. I can't wait. Anyone been to western carribean in September, just curious?

If y'all invite the rest of us, a great group rate might be had!!

Congrats to your friends and best wishes for fair winds, full sails, and stable seas.

KK, thank you for the great Miracle review. I'm glad to hear your friends are getting married and taking their honeymoon on the Glory. We will be on the Miracle next December with my siblings and their spouses - the first time we've all vacationed together. Also with us will be two adult children. I chose the Miracle for the western itinerary and hope everyone enjoys the ship. This will be our 6th cruise - 3rd on Carnival. Everyone else in our group either has not cruiseed before or has not been on Carnival. i'm looking forward to a good time. I know the menu selection will be good and the entertainment should keep everyone happy.
