getting from Port of Miami to FLL

Does anyone know the cost of taking a cab to Fort Lauderdale from the port of Miami? There is 7 of us traveling and we would need at least two cabs. Would we be better off having a chartered Van pick us up for around $140.

You could also rent a vehicle. Each cab will run you $60-$70

Not sure, unless you have small kids and little luggage if 7 people can get in 2 cabs.
