Hello Fellow Cruisers:)

Has anyone done the jeep tour with ABC? If so, do you recommend using them?

Also, has anyone done watersports with Delphi Watersports? If so, do you recommend them?

thank you for your feedback.

We took the 1/2 day jeep tour with ABC, which stopped at Baby Beach at the end of the tour. We loved it. You get to see the other side of the island, which is very interesting. Baby Beach has a shallow area and good snorkeling. I see you are from Va. So am I.

We are thinking of taking an ABC tour but are confused by the 1/2 day vs. the full day. They seem to go to pretty much the same places AND cost the same amount. Anybody have any knowledge about the 2?

B) Half Day Jeep Safari (New)

BBQ Lunch and snorkel gear

Price: $75pp/ $45pp child (3-6)

Natural Bridge, Chapel of Alto Vista, Bushiribana Ruins of Gold, California Lighthouse, Ostrich Farm and swimming and snorkeling at the famous Baby Beach.

Two half day tours,

A)- includes Arikok National Park, Ayo Rock formations, Donkey Sanctuary, Natural Pool

B)- includes lunch, the other does not, the same tour also includes a stop at Alto Vista, California Lighthouse, Ostrich Farm, Baby Beach

Essentially with A) you see a bit less in the way of sights, but you go to the Natural Pool which is difficult to get to and more time consuming and B) you get a meal and more sights.

C) Full Day Jeep Safari

Duration: 8 hours

Time : 9:00am-5:00pm

Included: FREE Pick-up and Drop-off

Unlimited beverages, B.B.Q

Lunch and snorkel gear

Entrance Fee to the National Park

Price:$ 95.00 pp/$45pp child (3-6) + 3% tax

Stops:

California Lighthouse, Wish Garden, Chapel of Alto Vista, Shark's Mouth, Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins, Ostrich Farm, Natural Bridge, Arikok National Park, Indian Caves, San Nicolas and Swimming and snorkeling at the famous Natural Pool and Baby Beach.

Given a perfect world, imo, if money were no object, I would do the donkey sanctuary over the ostrich farm and both Natural Pool and Baby Beach. Alto Vista and the Lighthouse are significant as well. The caves are an added bonus, unless you are absolutely petrified of bats. Bats and caves sort of go, hand in hand. C) above gives you most of that except the donkey sanctuary.

We were on an Emerald Princess cruise and visited Aruba late September. Decided to do a tour with ABC jeep tour, found on the internet, cost $75 half day jeep safari tour. This was an excellent decision. We were picked up at the pier and taken to ABC offices, where we waited for others on our tour to arrive. About an hour later, we got into a ten passenger four-wheel jeep with Roger, ABC rep, driving, eight passengers. I recommend using ABC rep to drive, very experienced with rocky terrain and knowledgeable about the island and how to get to where you want to go. We soon became good friends and had a wonderful time, visiting the many stops and learning about Aruba from Roger. It was tremendously fun doing the four-wheel trip to the Natural Pool and swimming and snorkeling there. Special requests for stops where accommodated by Roger. It was just wonderful. We had a great time and would recommend this tour to those interested
