I Luv Crusin Posted September 9, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2010 I need info on the Pirates Museum in Nassau. Cost, Hours, etc. Is it worth it? Thank you!
cruiseapril Posted September 9, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2010 You can google the Pirates of Nassau website and get all of the updated info. We included the Pirate's Museum in our day at the British Colonial Hilton and shopping on Bay St. (all nearby) It only took us about an hour to see the museum and it was ok. Best to plan several little excursions when including that museum.
pennielz Posted September 9, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 9, 2010 It is worth a visit, particularly if you have children. My husband and I did a few years ago since we, too, are pirates. It was fun. Arrggghh!
daflabear Posted September 9, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 9, 2010 We went there once and were sorry we wasted our money. Not much to hold the attention of children as it is not at all high tech (not even low tech), just a bunch of "exibits" in different rooms and sayings and dates painted on the walls. LAME. even the gift shop is small and has limited items for sale. DOES have a bar though, that's about all ithas going for it. Better off spending the money on lunch at Atlantis where you can see the fish when you dine.
