Some questions on the Victory?

Hi: While I"m platinum on RCCL, this is only my second Carnival Cruise and it's been years. So....can you tell me: are there refrigerators in the cabins? Are there still formal and semi formal nights? and are there any other things I should know? thank you in advance.

Fridges only in Suites.

We never did the formal night but I can tell you there is at least one night.

As of Nov. they will be replacing Dominica with a sea day.

We had a fantastic time this past July and Victory had to be in our top 3 cruises.

No fridge in the standard rooms.

Two formal nights. But they let people in that are not "properly" dressed too.

The fact that they took Dominica out is a big disappointment it is a great Island.

Not that it's really important but do they have the chocolate buffet???

I just got off and I can answer questions about the differences, etc and let you know about what to expect. I think there is a HUGE difference btwn RCCL and the Victory. There is no such thing as a bad cruise but it helps to know what to expect before going on. That way you can just enjoy what it has to offer.

 

I agree that it is a shame about Dominica. Beautiful island with nice people. And it was the only island where we weren't bombarded with "do you want to buy...."

Depending upon how long your cruise is, there is 1-2 formal nights (tues/thurs)
