4X4 Jeep tour and weather question

We are thinking of doing this in March 2011. I am worrid about it being too hot. Whats the weather in March?

Anyone have any info on this excursion?

What is too hot? March is usually a great weather month on GC - low humidity and gentle breezes.

And that low humidity brings us perhaps the driest month of the year. Very little rainfall in a typical March.

 

Temperatures won't be so different than at any other time of the year. March is probably highs in the mid 80s. In the warmer months the highs are in the mid to upper 80s. In the coldest months the highs are in the low to mid 80s.

My wife and I did the 4x4 Jeep Adventure With Lunch. We booked it through Carnival's website, though we could have saved $60, if we went directly to the tour operator and booked it. It was our first cruise though and we were super concerned about being left behind, so we didn't book any non-cruise sponsored excursions. I think the extra money was worth the peace of mind we had though...

 

We went in August, so it was pretty warm. I don't think the temperature bothered me all that much. It was more so being out in the sun, I really should have worn a hat and some sun block. But when you're flying down the road at 40-50 MPH, you'll get plenty of cool fresh air blowing by you. Plus after the Jeep part of the tour and lunch, we had plenty of time to spend on the beach and in the crystal clear water (also part of the tour).

It's cool, you pretty much get to see a significant part of the island by Jeep (Jeep Wrangler, automatic transmission) driving on the left side of the road. We stopped by Barkers National Park, did some off-road driving (nothing too bad), stopped at this Rum Shop (sampled various drinks and rum products), stopped by Hell and then drove back to where we started. We finished off with lunch and some time at the beach where you could relax, snorkel on your own or do some other activities. I think you'll enjoy it.

I was considereing this same tour, but on the Carnival site is said there are 4 people per jeep, this seems like a tight fit to me. Do you know if that is the same requirement if booking through Resort Sports?
