BethV114 Posted September 15, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2010 Does anyone know what the blank space between cabins 6138 and 6142 port side or 6538 and 6542 starboard side is? Trying to figure out if we need to change cabins. Thanks!
BethV114 Posted September 15, 2010 Author #2 Share Posted September 15, 2010 Oh, and I wanted to add that these are balcony cabins I'm referring to and the deck plans show these blank/white spaces as having balconies, as well. I took a look at some recent Allure photos and it appears that these areas do, indeed, have balconies attached to them. I know that a white/blank space often means something like closets, crew access areas, etc., but it seems odd to me that they would "waste" perfectly good balcony real estate on such matters. So that's why I'm confused.
BethV114 Posted September 22, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted September 22, 2010 Just in case anyone else out there is considering these cabins, here's the response I received from Royal Caribbean: Dear Mrs. V: Thank you for your email. We apologize for the delay in our response. Upon researching your inquiry, we have been advised the room is an air extractor room. Rest assured, it does not make any noise and will not obstruct any views from your balcony. Mrs. V, thank you for choosing Royal Caribbean International. We look forward to welcoming you onboard. Spire2000 Posted September 4, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 4, 2012 Thanks for posting this. We are on the Oasis in cabin # 6142 in Feb and have been wondering about the same exact "whitespace".
jenjack Posted January 4, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 4, 2014 Hi I m interested in booking 6538 and 6542. Do you by any chance have photos? I was also wondering bout the "whitespace" betwen the 2 rooms as well that how i found your post. We will need both rooms as we are family of 5. Any chance you think they might let us connect the balconies?
Texas-Mac/TV Posted July 7, 2017 #6 Share Posted July 7, 2017 Did you sail in one of the cabins by the white space? What was it actually? Is there additional noise made by housecleaning crew or whatever?
