Berk987 Posted September 15, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2010 anyone been? fairly good reviews on tripadvisors etc. anyone know how far is the walk from the Pier? 10 mins? 20 mins? Google map from the Sheraton OSJ said 3 mins drive so I figure about 20 mins walk - guessing. We can take the kids there for a few hours. Thanks. With kids, it would be about at 15 -20 min walk from Pier 4. I have not personally been there, but some guests went with their kids (5 and 8 yo). They said the kids liked it a lot. The info is all in Spanish, but they said their kids just jumped in with the local kids and played...no language needed, just play. It is all hands-on interactive stuff. Berk987 Posted September 16, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted September 16, 2010 Thanks Rainforest Girl. I think we're about 90% heading that way. Taking our own tour of OSJ instead of stressing over a private tour and renting a car. When we return for a week stay, we will rent a car. :) There will be plenty to see, do and eat in OSJ. Children's Museum, and La Fortaleza, in the west end area, then over to the east end to see San Cristobal Fort. Kids will be exhausted by evening. Any recommendations for eating in between the east and west end. local food in a nice place that is also kid friendly but not touristy? Thanks again.
