Any suugestions will be appreciated.:) When we sailed the starboard side was facing Front St in Hamilton. In St George you tender so neither side is actually facing the port. Enjoy the cruise. dtiger Posted September 19, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 19, 2010 We were starboard which faced Front street the other week, same as kayjo was.
senator6 Posted September 19, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 19, 2010 As we had an aft cabin that wasfacing the container dock I asked the Capatin if they changed each week. He said they had to dock on the Starboard Side because of the shape of the dock in Hamilton.
charleysmom Posted September 19, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 19, 2010 We just got back from Veendam... I'd say either side in Hamilton depending on what you want to look at. Port side faces water and beautiful houses across the water... quiet and calm. Starboard side faces Front Street (as noted)... fun to watch the action and scope out shops from a distance, but can be noisy. "Cairo" is a disco across the street that's open until 3 AM. If you are a light sleeper, that might bother you. We were on the starboard side and generally enjoyed it.
