Decorating cabin door on the Dream

Going to decorate our door with some cutouts, sign we made that I have had laminated. Would it be better to use double-sided tape, or fun-tak mounting putty on the cabin doors on the Dream?

Thanks for your input.

Anyone???? I thought I had read on here a few months back that the double-sided tape didn't work on the Dream; but not sure if I imagined it.

Just use masking tape or buy your favorite color duct tape. It's only temporary anyway. The staff was having to work very hard to remove putty left on alot of doors in our hallway from a large group on the previous cruise. Our signs stayed up with some duct tape for the duration of the cruise and came down very easily at the end of the cruise with no trace left...

Here's hoping you have a great cruise. Bon Voyage!

I've used Magnets on prior cruises (never sailed Carnival but probably booking Legend for DS's mid-winter break which is why I'm researching now). Anyway, are the doors on the Legend and/or Dream not steel/aluminum thereby precluding magnetic signs?
