Anyone know what the best shopping location is in Cozumel for good prices? Especially on vanilla etc?

 

Do we just stand in the taxi line-up at the pier and take a taxi downtown?

We like Los Cincos Soles just north of the square in downtown. Huge selection with fair prices. They do not bargain, but we think their quality and selection is very good.

 

Re taxi, if you are at the Punta Langosta pier, you can walk, but cabs are also lined up. At the International or Puerta Maya piers, you will catch a cab just outside the tourist area. If going to downtown, the fare should be about $7 for up to 4 people.
