just going on our 18th cruise, here are some tips for first time cruisers:

1. If you do not wish to pay the gratuity added to your bill, just see the pursers desk, and have it removed !!!!

2. When you get to your cabin, ask for robe, slippers, better pillows, and a foam topper for your bed...( all for free) !!

3. Tip your bartenders well, and the rewards will be many !!

4.

to save money, try an inside cabin, you are mostly only there to sleep, and change your clothes !!

5. After your first cruise, always ask for a cabin upgrade, you will be surprised, how often your wish is granted !!

6. Always choose a cabin, on a lower deck , midship for the best ride. ( hubby was in navy for 30 yrs..so trust me !!! )

7. Check your own air, opposed to cruise air, as it can be a lot more money involved !!

8. For flexibility, try the "any time dining", and you will not be set to a certain schedule.

9. Take an air freshener, and night light for your room, you will not regret it !!!

10. To avoid gaining too much weight, skip the buffet, and try the dining room, for a nice change..

last enjoy your cruise !!!~~~****:)
