suzyq213 Posted September 21, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2010 On Carnival's site when I price the cruise it just tells you the total price of the cruise. My question is do I have to pay for it all at once or do they accept deposits and payments before a certain date as other cruise sites do? Would love to do the Magic but I've got to put $$ in my trip jar;)
lady_cruiser Posted September 21, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 21, 2010 You should have been given the amount of your initial downpayment and the due date of the final payment. We usually put a $250.00 per person down payment when we book the cruise and then put so much down every couple of months. For example I have a cruise booked (on another cruiseline) for February 2011. I put $500 down (2 people - $250 each) when I booked the cruise and my final payment is due December 14th. In the meantime I have placed several payments towards the cruise to bring down my balance. Hope I haven't confused you any. I am not that great at explaining things. Ken076 Posted September 21, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 21, 2010 Carnival's deposits, due at time of your booking, are based on length of Cruise: 3 Day Cruises $100 pp 4 Day Cruises $150 pp 5 Day Cruises $200 pp 6,7 Day Cruises $250 pp 8 Day Cruises $300 Alakska Cruises $350 10+ Day Cruises $400 Europe Cruises $500 Carnival doesn't offer payment plans (you CAN set up a bank account and deposit periodically to it) and the final payment is due 60 or 70 days before departure. ken
