Local time and tendering

We are looking to book a Stingray excursion with a Stingray Sailing in Grand Cayman in December. They said to meet them at 9:00 Cayman time, and to check if the ship's time is aligned accordingly. We will be on the Crown Princess and are scheduled to be in port from 7:00 am-4:00pm. Does 7-4 mean the local time in GC? Will we have enough time to tender from the ship and meet them at the pier by 9am?

The Cayman Islands are on Eastern Standard Time year round, that is same time as Miami in the winter. What time your ship is on will depend on the Captain and where you are coming from. It is unlikely to be more than one hour off from local time and is most likely to be local time. 7 -4 means ship time.

Correct. OP, you should have no problem getting there by 9am. We actually were there too early and had to walk around for 45 minutes before our tour started.
