Oasis boarding time - REALLY 2pm???

Recommended Posts

We are embarking on the Oasis this Saturday and see that the boarding time is listed everywhere as 2pm. Is this correct? Can we really not board prior to 2pm, or is 2pm merely when the cabins will be available? If the boarding time is close to 2pm, is there just a long line of people who have made it through security and are waiting to get on the ship? We always travel a day ahead and have never gotten on board *after* 1pm before...Thanks in advance for your info about your experience on Oasis re: boarding.

No...people usually can start boarding around 11:00-11:30...rooms aren't ready until closer to 2 pm though...I just don't think they want everyone showing up at 9:00 am to board at 11 so they tell you later.

You can board after 11am. takes about 15-20 min to get on ship. Go straight to Park Cafe (deck 8) for roast beef sandwich!

If everyone really showed up after 2 PM, they would never get all the people and luggage on the ship in time to depart. Luckily, many people do not pay attention to them.
