Miami Airport to Dolphin Mall

Does anyone know if it is quicker to get to the Dolphin Mall from the Port of Miami or from the airport? We will be off our ship in the AM and am not sure if we should take our free shuttle to MIA and then find transportation to the Mall or just go to the mall from the Port.

It's 5 miles from the airport. Here's the Trip Planner from Miami Dade Transit:

I'm not loving your choices. They're long, involved and include extensive walking. I'd take a cab out there, from MIA, and get the guy's card, call him specifically when you're ready to return.

The difference in distance is negligable. The Dolphin Mall is in the Doral area which is very close to the airport. Another area that is a bit closer to the airport in the Blue Lagoon area. There are a lot of great restaurants in the Doral area, since there is such a heavy concentration of offices and businesses there. The Dolphin mall is very cool, if you do go, try my favorite restaurant, a brazilian steakhouse, Texas de Brazil. All you can eat steak, anyone? It's not cheap, but OMG.

I did not read your post well, sorry. The Port is farther away than the airport. Take your transportation to the Mall and then taxi it to the airport.
