kdickers Posted February 16, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2005 I am a HOPELESSLY ADDICTED cappuchino (vanilla of course) drinker and don't really know if I can kick the habit for our cruise.:p I'm sure hoping that the Celebration has a little coffee shop on board so I can send DH out for my morning cup while I SLOWLY get my eyes open while sitting out on my balcony!! Ha! Ha! DH is a very early riser anyway so . . . he'll be wanting his morning cup of java too!! Does the Celebration have a specialty coffee shop?? And . . . where is it!! LEAD ME TO IT . . . I'm sure I'll need a couple each morning after the late nights!!;)
kdickers Posted February 18, 2005 Author #2 Share Posted February 18, 2005 Any past Celebration cruisers know the answer???? Do I need to pack my own cappuchino machine along with my crockpot, blender and kitchen sink???? Kim
jima53 Posted February 18, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2005 I don't think the Celebration has a seperate gourmet type of coffee counter like the larger ships. Jim
suseg Posted February 18, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 18, 2005 We too will be cruising on the Celebration. When we cruised on the Ecstasy, last year, they did have a cappucino bar. Since they're (somewhat) sister ships I would imagine there are the same amenities....but I can't guarantee that!!!;)
Cotton Posted February 18, 2005 #5 Share Posted February 18, 2005 The Holiday, Jubilee, and Celebration are "sister ships" in the Holiday Class. The Holiday doesn't have a specialty coffee shop, so I don't think the others do, either. However, they offered complimentary espresso and cappuccino in the dining room after meals.:) Not available on Lido Deck or from room service, though. Sorry. Would be nice if all the ships had the specialty coffee shops. Maybe they could revamp the older ships and put one in a little niche somewhere....Carnival, are you listening?:D
kdickers Posted February 18, 2005 Author #6 Share Posted February 18, 2005 I guess Carnival wants their passengers up all night and not all day!! :D Do you know if it's available in the dining room at breakfast?? Kim
Cotton Posted February 18, 2005 #7 Share Posted February 18, 2005 Yep, Kim, you're in luck! I've had espresso at b'fast, and noticed cappuccino also on the menu.
