Buying food items in port and bringing them back to ship?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I am sailing Monday on the Majesty and had a few questions...

I know that you can't bring open food items back onboard, and I know you can't bring vegatation such as coconuts, etc back onboard, BUT I'm questioning packaged food items that are bought in stores, such as sauces, cakes, etc.

My fiance is a Chef and I wanted to bring back some gifts for him from the Keys and Nassau...

Thanks in advance for the help!

I always bring back a bag of goodies from Kermits in Key West! Everything is packaged and, obviously, food - no one has ever batted an eye. :) I love extending my vacation a bit by making chocolate covered key lime pie bars at home.

 OMG!!!

If we all beg will you post the recipe?;)
