Great Review and Photos Debra

We will be sailing on Jan. 1st, 2011

We'll be on the starboard side too so now we can know what to expect to look at!!! lol

I have a couple questions. You said you travelled to the port in limo.

What limo service did you use and how much was it?

We are going to be in Disney and are trying to figure out what kind of transportation we should take to the port in the morning and are perhaps considering a limo over renting.

Thanks!

Debbie

Notice they didn't pick us up at the airport. I arranged for them to pick us up at our hotel. And we asked that they stop at a Walgreens or something for us to get our water and soda. We also got an upgrade, which was totally nice :)

I would use them again. You can see what they offer on the website as far as vehicles. I hope this helps!

Debra, we are hoping to book the Dream within the next week. I went through your review last night and enjoyed it thoroughly. I may have missed a link, but I wonder if all of your pictures will be available at some point?

Yes, sorry I wasn't clear on that. What I was wondering was whether all of your pictures ever made it into an online photo gallery so that one could just surf the pictures, i.e.--- Webshots, Photobucket, Shutterfly, etc.? The ones you used in the review, and the ones you didn't.

B-t-w, we did end up booking the Dream for this coming summer. We keep coming back to your review because we have enjoyed the info and pictures. Thanks for the thorough job on it.

I am not sure why, but our call got extended by one hour here in Roatan. Valor left just before we did... au revoir, Carnival Valor!

OMG I was looking at your pictures of the Dream and put two and two togehther that you were in Roatan the same day we were last year except I was on the Valor. I find it funny that you said, au revoir, "Carnival Valor!....." and we were actually on the ship sailing away. We will be on the Dream 9/24/11....I see you will be on the Valor??? Great ship...we had a great time....!! We had BEAUTIFUL weather in Roatan that day didn't we!!!! Happy Cruising!!! =)

How fun. OMG I absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED our time in Roatan!! I am glad you found my review so you could see pictures of the Dream. I also am happy to hear that you loved Valor--I am so looking forward to this cruise. We've had a heckuva year and this will be just me and my hubby. Well, my sister is coming--my treat--but I got her her own room.

Let me know if I can ever answer any questions for you, ok?

Thank you for such an awesome review. I was excited before reading this but now I am going nuts as I have a long wait before I can step onto the DREAM. I think my countdown clock is broke. LOL

Wow, what a great review. I haven't even booked the Dream yet, but am about to for 2013.

As a sister scrapbooker, here's a request you haven't had on here. I am fascinated with your saying you use the pictures of the ship as borders. I can't quite picture (no pun intended, LOL) how you do that or what they look like on the page. Would you be willing to take a few shots of your layouts with border pictures to show me ?

You can send a couple of shots to janelschool at aol dot com if you would. Only scrapbookers place such a request !

So, we are practically neighbors / Eastern Shore and just south of Dover, DE ! I was surprised you had to go through Philly. We always fly out of BWI directly to FL. Anyway, I truly enjoyed your review and will share it with the group that is about to do a B2B.

We did the same ports on the Legend, so we're going to do the Eastern ports on the Dream in Feb. 2013.

By now, I'm sure you are enjoying new clothes and better health. Good for you. Continued success.

Thanks for a great review. We sailed the Dream last May and had a fabulous time. It wonderful to see a positive review. It seems like all you read about the Dream is negative and it really made me anxious prior to cruise thinking we had made a bad mistake booking this ship but ended up loving her.

Your beautiful family seems to know how to enjoy yourselves.

So glad I found this thread, I was just tooling away yesterday looking at anything that said Dream lol

Well I am so happy your surgery went well, and you will be cruising again!! I did love the Valor, she was a great size...not too big not too small. I mean, IM ON A CRUISE and not at work. I try not to see the negatives while on vacation. I know the Dream is bigger and I do expect more people etc...I have saild on the Adventure of the Seas so I have an idea of the size of the ship. We have a bunch of people that were on the Valor 9/19/10 sailing that are repeating on the Dream 9/24/11 sailing, there is about 20 of us plus ones add through roll call!!! Gonna be a blast. I am gonna post this reveiw on our roll call so they can see the great pictures =) Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and pictures!!!!!
