Altun Ha and River cruise?

Hi,

 

Other than the ship's excursion, does anyone have a recommendation for the same tour with an independent agent that charges less than the cruise line? Reliable, clean, and safe.

I haven't been yet but have been reading good things about carnival tours belize dot com I'm seriously considering booking through them to save a little bit of money but will do some more reading first as I'm a first tiem cruiser (and first time outside of the US/Canada) and a bit nervous about taking not ship planned excursions.

Thanks. I found their site as well. It looks like a good option. I have been on many cruises before and have never taken a ship's tour. I either do it myself or take a private tour. So far in all the cruises I have taken, not a single problem. As long as you are well versed about the places and what you are doing it should be ok.
