agp_mzk Posted September 28, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2010 Hi, there! I've been lurking in this forum for a few months now in preparation for my first cruise. We leave this Saturday out of Jacksonville for Half Moon Cay and Nassau. How is the forecast looking for our trip? It looks like "tropical depression 16" will beat us to Florida by just a couple of days. What does that mean for the weather/waves on our departure day? Is there any other storm brewing that might affect us? Thanks for the help! I sail in three days!!! I can hardly stand myself I'm so excited! I doubt that there will be many effects of td 16 (nicole) by then. It's too early to tell of any effects from a possible second system this weekend. The models have been trending weaker with that one.
agp_mzk Posted September 29, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted September 29, 2010 Thanks for the quick response! Looks like we may get a bit damp on one or both of our port days. Guess we'll see soon enough!
