Upgrading on Mercury

I am offered an upgrade to the SKY Suite on Mercury from a C1 (one of the special cabins)...... but before I accept, I would like to know if the SKY suites on Mercury are covered or not, and if there are suites to avoid.

If you check these sites you might find some pictures of the balcony. We LOVED the Sky suite on Mercury. We also had one on Galaxy and booked this past March in the same exact number suite on Mercury.

 

The overhang is not that wide but you can sit underneath. The balcony is largely in the sun. We loved 1218 on both ships with the little "cut out" at the end of the balcony. We didn't particularly care for the one that is completely "square" as the walls between the cabins blocked a lot. At least with the cut out we could sit close to the rail and watch the world go by.

 

If you check the Celebrity site and the Mercury you can determine which cut outs face forward or aft.

 

The bathroom is much larger with a spa tub, lots of storage space and the butler service was nice.

 

It's all in what you like. Good luck and enjoy Mercury. We'll miss her so much when she leaves the fleet.
