gr1634 Posted February 17, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2005 Don't seem to be able to get a positive confirmation of Carnival offerring beginner scuba in NAssau so thought I would try a different tack. Does any one have name/link to private enterprise that offers beginner scuba at Nassau?? GR

dodgersmom Posted February 17, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 17, 2005 Stuart Cove's in Nassua gets about 100 big thumbs ups from me. I am already certified and did a shark dive with them a few years ago. They are a very professional organization.

Does any one have name/link to private enterprise that offers beginner scuba at Nassau??GR I was on the Carnival Miracle and I dive. I went down the first night on the ship to sign up for all the dives and I was told if enough people I think it was 6 don;t sign up the tour is canceled. That was a great cruise for diving. wolfie_47 Posted July 28, 2006 #7 Share Posted July 28, 2006 I used Stuart Cove also, picked us up and delivered us right at the dock. Had a great van driver who gave us a tour narritive(sp?) on the way to the shop. Very professional I wouldn't hesitate to dive with them again. Like dodgersmom, I did the shark dive but I'm sure they have some sort of beginners package.
bike1964 Posted July 29, 2006 #8 Share Posted July 29, 2006 I also did a resort course at Stuart Cove. It was great and when I came home I became certified because of this trip.
JoanieFL Posted July 30, 2006 #9 Share Posted July 30, 2006 Stuart Cove is the best! Very organized and professional! Lots of volume, but plenty of boats and buses to transport everyone, also a well trained top notch staff so that things run smoothly. We went snorkeling with them and had the time of our life with the two reef stops and then the reef shark feeding stop which was awsome! I never thought I'd get into the water with sharks, but I did. Now we want to go back and take a beginner scuba class with them! We did not book them with our ship, but called and reserved prior to the cruise. They were so good that when people with no reservation showed up at their pickup area outside of the cruise terminal and the bus was already full the driver was on her cell and another bus was there in less than 10 minutes. Great operation and very friendly. You get your $$$ worth! It was the highlight of our trip.
