Rare PatriciaF Posted October 2, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 2, 2010 The free downtown Long Beach shuttle service, The Passport, goes to the Queen Mary which is just a short walk to the Carnival terminal. http://www.lbtransit.com/Schedules/Default.aspx?routegrp=
Cruisin' Chick Posted October 3, 2010 #3 Share Posted October 3, 2010 The passport shuttle seems pretty safe (we went from the Aquarium to Shoreline Village, which is near the QM). Not sure if I would use regular public transit if I have luggage. The passengers on the city bus are usually using it because they don't have a vehicle and are trying to get to work or otherwise going about doing errands. If you come onboard with a bunch of luggage, you can be inconveniencing them.
win1 Posted October 3, 2010 #4 Share Posted October 3, 2010 Hi there, I'd use The Passport for getting to a restaurant, the acquarium, etc. but for getting to the ship I'd suggest a cab for your party to be comfortable. They should be able to set it up for you at your hotel. Enjoy your cruise, Winnie
