Seems to be a bit confusing. Can we take soft drinks on board the Pacific Dawn. I have had different answers from different cruisers.

taking soft drink onboard p&o & princess is ok but not with RCCL

I just recently carried a 12 pack of coke cans on the Pacific Sun when boarding in Sydney with no problems at all.

Yep! In August I carried on 10 cans of coke and 2 sealed bottles of water without issue.

 

They did check them to make sure it wasn't alcohol. ;)

 

Its well worth doing if you drink the stuff. I'll take more next time.

 

The RCCL cruise we did out of LA had an unlimited soft drink package you could buy which I thought was much more reasonable than $2-3 per can that P&O were charging.
