Sunnycruiser Posted February 18, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2005 Looking for a cabin suggestion for an Alaskan cruise on the Diamond and/or Sapphire ships - MUST be a balcony cabin - Thanks
csk Posted February 19, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2005 we cruised the Diamond last year to Alaska, we were in D701, and loved the location, the ship is beautiful, and the location of your cabin is all about preference. Ours was near the stairs, and we had a hugh balcony, the balcony was open and people above could look down, but didnt bother us.
AnnJohn Posted February 20, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2005 I'm wondering whether is matters on this cruise--port or starboard. I've been told by most agents it doesn't matter, though some think starboard is preferable on this cruise. Any thoughts?
raysue Posted February 26, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 26, 2005 We just returned from mexico a few weeks ago. We were in E-728, farthest aft on E deck. This is a WONDERFUL cabin! Regular mini-suite inside, but the balcony is almost twice the size of a regular mini. Very privite, you can see the wake of the ship from your balcony. We recomend it highly! That sure is good news to hear, as we will be in the other aft mini E731 on the Diamond in May...Very excited about seeing both Alaska and E731...
