Motorcycle Rental

My husband and I rented mopeds in Waikiki. The site we rented from did have mopeds for two but it did require a motorcycle licence which neither of us had. We had a great time, although we did get lost for 4 hours and didn't get to meet with our wedding planner on the east side of the island. We ended up making a complete loop somehow and we came back through Chinatown and Honolulu! I probably wouldn't have dared to go through the Honolulu traffic if I had planned it. With mopeds, you can't use the major highways (H1, H2, or H3).

My DH and DS rented Harleys in Maui - not as convenient to get there but luckily a guy that rode with them was from Maui so had a car they could use. I rode with my husband in Kona. We walked to the Harley dealer there and enjoyed our ride. We rode along the coast in the AM and DS rode with DH through the rain forest 'jungle' in the PM.
