mommyto2kids Posted October 11, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 11, 2010 We have booked 2 family oceanview rooms on the Liberty for next Saturday. Rooms were 6J category. This category was previously sold out, but last night when I checked one was available (someone must of cancelled or upgraded) I checked this am and reg oceanviews were sold out so they were upgrading to the family ocean view for free. This meant a price drop for me. I quickly took a screen shot and filled out my ES form. I just checked again and the room is now booked making the category unavailable again. Will the fact that the room is no longer avail impact my chances of getting the ES. I hoping not since when I filled out the ES form the room was available. I have done 4 price guarantees for this cruise already with no problems, but this situation is a first for me. Thoughts?
kcroxyoursox Posted October 11, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 11, 2010 My guess is that (all other things being equal/correct) that you should get it. Also, I think they are able to look up in their system fares that were offered based on the timestamp of your request. Good for you for getting the screenshot, because that's extra insurance IMO! mommyto2kids Posted October 11, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted October 11, 2010 thanks, I also always put the day and time that I found the price and I don't know if it has made a difference, but I figure being specific and providing the additional information can't hurt.
