cherishrwil Posted October 12, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 12, 2010 Has anyone rented a stroller on board Carnival before? I was wondering what the rental fee was and if the stroller was like an umbrella type of stroller? Thanks.
YOWmom Posted October 12, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 12, 2010 I didn't rent one but saw where they were stored in Camp Carnival - they were full size "Jeep" strollers (I think, or maybe Graco?), and looked pretty old and battered, and probably a bit bulky for manoeuvering around the ship. So if you have a good quality and/or more lightweight stroller that you like, it's probably worth bringing your own. If you're flying, I think most airlines will still let you gate check them for no extra charge (and I always like having a stoller when moving through airports, especially if you get delayed or have to get to a far flung gate quickly). cherishrwil Posted October 13, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted October 13, 2010 Thanks! We aren't flying since we live local to port so we will probably just bring a lightweight umbrella stroller for getting around the ship and our bigger, double stroller for getting off the ship. LoveHeald Posted October 16, 2010 #4 Share Posted October 16, 2010 Glad you asked this...based on the reply, I'll just pack a little umbrella stroller- portable and won't take up an entire elevator where people shoot us dirty looks, haha!
