Excursions limited places Celebration

:p Hi all can anyone tell me if they have had any problems booking excursion. We have noticed that it states in the book that there are limited places on the trip to Pyramids Mohamed Ali Mosque and The Nile.

We sail on the Celebration 28th October.Thanks ;)

We did this tour in April and had no problem getting a place and did not hear of anyone not getting a place. It is always best, if you are determined on a particular tour, to book as early as possible. You don't need to wait for the tour desk to open, you should have a booking form waiting for you in your cabin and you can post this in the box outside the tour desk - this also avoids having to queue and waste valuable drinking time!!

Luckily a large proportion of passengers will be new cruisers and will have no idea of these tips and tricks. Isn't the forum a wonderful thing :D

 

I did have a excursion cancelled due to insufficient numbers but got a refund and anyway had only left the casino at 2am :eek:

 

ps. no point staying out to play after 2am. The AI stops then for a few hours :(

I think they book the trips after all the numbers are in, saw a women at destinations services in jan trying to book after the deadline and she missed out, as they had waited for the numbers before booking the coaches

Booking early will mean that if the trip does go ahead you will be on it - leave it til latet and you may not be able to get on the coach. They aim to fill all the coaches so if they feel they can not fill a further coach they will say it is sold out.
