Past Carnival Brides...need suggestions! :)

I have heard from some of you that there is a lot of downtime between arriving at the port and getting on the ship. Did any of you do anything to help entertain your guests?? Thanks in advance!

while we were waiting to board the ship we took the time to talk and introduce everyone to one another...also took time to talk with the non sailing guests and our coordinator talked us thru what to do once on the ship...once on the ship our guests just explored the ship and hung out at the lobby bar (let them pay with credit card)...

we didn't do anything to entertain. Just took the time to visit. It was great that my daughters thought ahead to bring the d-s games for their kids. It kept them quieter in the waiting area, which I'm sure everyone appreciated.

I didn't plan anything either, it is a great time to chit chat especially with the nonsailing guests.
