How to get the best cruise deal from Celebrity

After reading about booking early--booking late-- price drops --tuesday specials and final payment dates Ifigured how to get the best deal.Here is what I did---I compared prices for tuesday specials and realized that they were about %25 cheaper (sometimes) on numerous sailings so

 

I chose an Itinerary--Infinity-sail on Dec5 from Miami to Valparaiso

In Feb I booked frequent flyers from santiago home---Dec 22

In March I booked a hotel in Santiago--for 3 days

In August I purchased one way air to fort lauderdale

During the summer I saw all the tuesday bargains for Alaska sails

 

In the fall all the bargains appeared for the carribean --Tuesday specials were up to Nov--nothing for Dec--according to Celebrity there were say 50 cabins avaiable--I passed up some senior rates--The tuesday special would be here soon--inside--ov and balcony still available

Panic--Would the ship sell out

Called my on line TA--no ov available --one super varenda and suites avail--booked the last gty inside--50 days before the ship sails

My lesson---book after final payment date ---get a bargain say for cruise to alaska--carribean--etc.--The ship will sell out--only royal suites available if the itinerary is great
