Family suites on the star (AJ)

Hello! We are sailing on the Star in March, and have booked a family suite. This will be our first time in a suite, and we aren't sure what to expect. Do suite guests have reserved seating for the shows in the theatre? What does the concierge do?

Also, although I am very excited to have booked a family suite, I am really going to miss having a private balcony. I was wondering if the trade off is worth it?
