swdke Posted November 1, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 1, 2010 We will be returning from a sailing tour in Barbados around 2:30 PM. We were wondering, is there any shopping near where the Caribbean Princess docks that we could check out before having to get back onboard? Or, since we might have a couple of hours before needing to get back onboard, we can take a taxi to town to walk around, have a look, do some shopping, etc. If so, where do we tell the taxi to take us too? Or, is it walkable to get there? If so, do you have directions? What do you recommend to see and do with a couple of hours after a tour, before having to reboard the ship. Thanks for your help and information.

pittypat Posted November 7, 2010 #3 Share Posted November 7, 2010 There is shopping in the port area and also it is a very short walk down town. My husband and I have walked back to the cruise pier on both trips to Barbados. We had excursions and after completing we asked to just be dropped off in town so we could shop and make our way back to the boat. pittypat
