Serenade - Cabins 9254 and 9654

Are the balcony's on these two staterooms as big as they look on the deck plans? Both of them seem to have an added section looking towards the back of the ship. I was curious if they are actually that big. If so, wouldn't these be desirable balcony cabins. It seems odd to me that these are 2 of only 3 D2 cabins remaining available on our upcoming Serenade trip and it got me thinking maybe there's something not shown on the deck plans. I'm not looking to switch...just curious.

the balconies are both partially obstructed as they have the metal framework for the window washing equipment, kind of looks like a ladder.

Yes those cabins balconies are larger as show in the shot below which also shows how the window cleaning platform blocks the view. That is the balcony for cabin 9654 at the top left.
