La Quinta, Miami Lakes

Recommended Posts

I know this recommendation won't do too many folks any good, but BOY what a great experience this has been.

The La Quinta, Miami Lakes is a fabulous deal and a wonderful find of a hotel.

The location is right off of 826, so it's convenient to anything you'd want to drive to. The area is loaded with grocery stores, pharmacies, places to eat, really, and embarrassment of riches.

Let's talk about the rate, $62 per night.

Beds, plush and comfy. Area, Quiet. Breakfast, malted waffles, or Einsteins if you prefer to have a bagel. Appointments, fresh and modern.

Everyone has been super-friendly and helpful.

It won't do for everyone, but if you plan on renting a car, this is a really good option.

Hi there, we are driving into Miami, and this hotel sounds like what we are looking for.

Just a clean hotel and comfy beds and we like to stay at La Quintas, so my question is, how far is this from the POM? What would a taxi cost? Can we park our car there for the duration of the cruise?

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks,

Kathy

Miami Lakes is just "OK", but I don't recommend staying there, as there is nothing around. There are far more interesting things to see and do if you stayed in Downtown or on the beach. POM is at least a 30-minute drive, so figure about a $60 + cab fare.
