land tour and sting rays

We booked with captain Marvin's last march, and will be doing so again this year. They offer a tour of the turtle farm, hell and stingray city and snorkeling that is a fraction of the cost of the ship sponsored trip, we had about 15 people on our boat and the ship tours easily had well over 50, it was relaxed, we got individual attention, felt perfectly safe and had a blast! Their office is right across the street from the pier, easy 2 min walk.

those are the snorkeling and stingray prices

they charged us an extra $50 for all 4 of us to do the island tour, it was a private tour as no one else wanted to do it, so for $125 all 4 of us did the stingrays then extra $50 for the island tour, $175 total for the day was a pretty good deal. We did the early stingrays, one snorkel stop, and tour and were back to the ship by around 1pm, plenty of time to shop and buy some rum :) I liked their personal service, the boats from the cruise were loaded with people well over 50 in some cases over 100 and they looked like they were rushing them on and off the boat, we spent around 30 min with the stingrays and 30 snorkeling it was fantastic!

Just did the Stingray and Island Tour with Nativeways - we went to the Stingray sandbar, Hell, turtle farm and rum factory. It was so much fun, I can not recommend this tour enough! Sharon and her husband were so welcoming and personable, and provided really interesting insider knowledge of GC. It was $60, plus we tipped them at the end - which we thought was quite a bargain. The tour also lasted the entire time in port, with about 45 mins left to spare...but we were on the Carnival Valor and the tender lines back to the ship were horrendous, so we ended up with an extra couple hours to walk around to wait it out.
