Price drop...not early saver

Good Morning!

Today, I noticed a price drop on a cruise we have booked for December. On the spur of a moment, we booked a OV guarantee for $289. We paid in full at the time of booking. The price for an OV is now $269.

 

Do we get OBC or an upgrade? Should I contact my PVP? Until I found this site a year or so ago, I never knew you could ask for adjustments.

 

Any insight would be appreciated. I read the board almost daily and have learned so much from you all!

Unfortunately no OBC, but if a higher category is cheaper than what you paid you can be upgraded~

I did not book an ES... when I saw the price drop, the cabin I booked was more expensive than the new price, and the next upgrade was only $10 more than what I paid.

 

I contacted by PVP, who spoke to his supervisor on my behalf. They gave me an option of an OBC or the upgrade for $10. I chose the upgarde.

Thanks for your replies! The balcony guarantee is $20 higher, so maybe we will get an upgrade.

One thing for sure there seems to be no consistency in what CCL does. My thoughts is since you have paid in full, you are SOL but it never hurts to ask especially if the ship isn't full.
