googalini Posted November 11, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2010 Can anyone recommend family-friendly excursions (private or ship-sponsored)? We are a family with pre-teen children and two grandparents, one of whom will be with a motorized wheelchair/scooter. Wea will be on Carnival Dream and arriving on Isla Roatan in December. Thanks. Electricflyer Posted November 11, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 11, 2010 Contact Victor Bodden by email and see if he can accomodate your family with the issue of a motorized scooter or if he can offer an option. Do a google search for his web site as the moderators sometimes delete web address's. Victor is well respected as a tour operator and can offer you a driver to do whatever you wish without being taken or doing something you are not interested in. His drivers are yours for the day to do your bidding. Victor will usually answer you within 24 hours. That is his living and the living he provides for his family members so he is very safe and honest. Normally they do not allow him to enter the Carnival port area because he is an independent operator but because of the handicap issue the cruise line people may let him drive down to the dock area and pick you up there, you need to ask about that when you email him.
