Universe93B Posted November 14, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 14, 2010 we're thinking of taking the appleton estate rum tour from falmouth (on the allure in march for spring break!). but the length listed on RC's website says only 1 hour? i'm sure it's much longer, does anyone have a good idea on how long it takes? maybe driving to the estate will take a while also. any other comments on the tour? we wanna do something chill and then hang out on the Allure for the rest of the day
Daycare Provider Posted November 15, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 15, 2010 we have done the tour several times...lt take you an hour from Fallmouth...the actual tour is an hour..the best part about the tour is the rum tasting at the end....basically going to the factory is fun but not worth the drive...go tasting at a rum shop near the pier instead...enjoy your trip.. odettemcf Posted November 23, 2010 #3 Share Posted November 23, 2010 Appleton Estate in St Elizabeth is much more than an hour away. The tour itself IS about an hour, which is really very interesting.... I would double check with RC about the travel time.. maybe they have a new route.. I'd sure like to know about it!! However, if you are taking the tour with them then it shouldnt be an issue.

Angela Hi Angela, After reading your wonderful review we are going to book with Courtney Taylor in Nov. We were thinking about doing the Appleton tour but maybe not! Is there a good rum shop by the Falmouth pier that you would recommend? Thanks Kathy

We did not stop there, but they did have a huge Appleton Estates bottle by the booth.
