NCL Shuttle or Taxi to Miami Airport

Any suggestions? Is one better than the other?? Does anyone know the cost for a taxi to the Miami Airport?

It is a set $22 from the airport to the port and $2 more from the port to the airport. The cab drivers have to pay a $2 to pickup from the terminal and they charge that to you.

The NCL shuttle can take a while to get you to the port since you will circle around the airport picking other people up. The shuttle will be full or mostly full by the time you leave the airport. This process can cause delays depending on when your flight arrives compared to others. We like to be on our own and take a taxi. The additional cost is worth it to us.

This is by the far the easiest decision to make.

A) Cheap, maybe cheaper, fast, no waiting, no delays

or

B) Expensive, slower, delays, hassles, irritations

Grab a cab and be at the airport while others are still wondering what the holdup is.

TAXI!! Way faster, it's waiting right outside the terminal probably 10 ft from the door.

By the end of the cruise you will be tired of lines, tired of waiting and tired of people. The shuttle service is more of that. The taxi is quiet, no people, no lines, no hassle.

I have no idea what the price difference is but after doing both, I would never again go with the NCL shuttle. It's unnecessary hassle.

No contest - Taxi ($24 - when I was last there) - DON'T let them claim there is an 'extra' charge - there isn't!)

This is a flat rate for up to three people (NOT per person) - this is the cost of the taxi period - the only "extra" would be a tip of whatever amount YOU want to give.
