Day passes/ close Beaches?

Hi everyone,

 

Quick questions. I realize not many people have been to St Vincent so I've already do Wayne's tour so looking for something different. I would like to see the land, but DH would like to be by the water. Now in reading I see Villa beach is nice with restaunts avail. for food and drinks, Are we able to use the pools etc, do they offer a day pass? Any info on Young Island Resort and how we could get there? Lastly how far from the pier and what would a cab cost for 2 people? Thanks for your time. anything will help.

It's OK Vancouver has great beaches in Stanley Park in the summer.... and I do mean great. :)
