Any recommendations for best place on Orient Beach

Will be in there in Feb. It looks like there are lots of bar/restaurants strung along Orient Beach. What are peoples favorites? Does any body have a recommendation for a place that serves good Mexican food and/or a killer Margarita? Thanks!

I've never eaten there, but the only place I'm aware of on Orient offering Mexican is Mexicano.

 

I see a Margarita Bar and Nachos, Burritos, Tacos, Enchiladas, etc.

Three weeks ago, the sign had been replaced and it looked like it was being prepared to reopen as something else.

The Mararitas we've had on Orient Beach (couple places) have been a bit bitter - probably a lot of lime juice.

 

Our favorite place is Kakao but it is not an inexpensive place. We like it for nice seafood. A good idea if food/drink is important is to get a place to sit and then do a bit of walking and look at the menus.

 

Generally, the less expensive places are at the south end of the beach, just north of Club Orient, around Pedros. Chair rentals are less there too but don't look quite as cushy as at the beach clubs just to the north like Kakao
