elee1976 Posted November 29, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 29, 2010 Does anyone who has been on the Pride recently know what nights are the formal nights? I want to book a night at the steakhouse but do not want to go on a formal night. :)

Cookiesbykk Posted November 29, 2010 #3 Share Posted November 29, 2010 Just got off the Pride today. Monday (first day at sea) and Friday (Freeport day). Saw every range of dress for these nights...jeans to tuxes, women in slacks to ball gowns. I was actually surprised at just how many people did dress quite formally (not necessarily tuxes but jacket and tie). It was quite nice.
Mad Capn Bob Posted November 30, 2010 #4 Share Posted November 30, 2010 On my cruise, I saw someone in line wearing a full formal...kilt. That's the sort of thing that makes me want to take me pirate garb for me next cruise, belike...

jwitt2 Posted November 30, 2010 #6 Share Posted November 30, 2010 I just got off the Pride. We went to David's on Thursday evening. Unless you want to go into town because the ship stays late in Nassau, there wasn't a lot going on, so it was a good night to go. There wasn't much of a show. We had a very good experience there. Tina, the hostess was very nice, as were the rest of the staff. Service and food were excellent. We have been on Holland American and were not impressed with the last few times at the Pinnacle Grill, so were pleased that Carnival was better.
