The Fitness Center aboard Star Princess?

I have seen a lot of reports that state how bad the weights section of these class ships are. Is there anyone out there that can give me a detailed description, such as what poundages do the dumbells go up to & what types of machines do they have? I have been on quite a few Carnival & Royal Caribbean cruises, but have never been disappointed with their gyms. Based on all the reviews I have seen it looks like I may be severley disappointed with the facility. Anyone have any 1st hand experience with the gym aboard Star Princess?
