ncl epic guarenteed cabin

hi have just booked ncl epic for october 2011, but have only got a guarenteed inside cabin .my question is what can i expect ie very basic or maybe a upgrade if an lucky any help please to dispel the better halfs fears of been in the bowels of the ship thank you in anticipation

Usually when you book a guarantee cabin, especially as early as you have booked, you may get bumped up a few decks. But remember, if you are upgraded, you usually will remain in an inside cabin. If you use a travel agent, they can tell you what your base catagory is. If you are a past passenger with NCL, there may be other incentives to get you a better cabin location. I have cruised for sometime now, and although I prefer at least an ocean view or balcony, an inside will do since I am not in it much of the time. I'm booked on the Epic Nov 5, 2011.
