winncruiser Posted December 3, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 3, 2010 Has anyone done the Princess excursion The Full Day Sail & snorkle with lunch? It runs from 8:30 til 2:30 for $99/person. Is it worth it? Thanks!!
helpmesailaway Posted December 6, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 6, 2010 We just did this excursion in Oct. We had a wonderful time on the Dancing Dolphin. The crew were wonderful - friendly and helpful. There were only 10 people for our excursion. The first stop is a protected snorkeling area. You can snorkel right off the boat or just relax. The second stop was Honeymoon Beach. Gorgeous and not crowded. The provided lunch was nice. There is also one food vendor there so you could get some other food if you wish. The catamaran just pulls up to the beach and you walk to the shore. My husband said this was his favorite day and we had a great cruise:) I think $99.00 was worth it. The catamaran picks you up right at the pier - no having to get a cab or bus to go somewhere else.
winncruiser Posted December 7, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted December 7, 2010 thank you so much for your response....glad you had a wonderful day..think we will stick with that, especially since we will board right at the cruise terminal instead of spending half the day getting to Red Hook! helpmesailaway Posted December 8, 2010 #5 Share Posted December 8, 2010 I really don't know the answer to that question! I will tell you that they were frequently doing "something" with the sails so my guess is that is may be a combination. Whatever it was - it was fun:) I would go again given the opportunity!
