RCCL Miami Tours Post-Cruise

After our cruise, our flight departs Miami at 1:20PM. I was thinking of taking the RCCL Miami Highlights Tour (2 hours). I've read the description of the tour but can't determine if it's all bus driving through neighborhoods or if they let you out to walk around. Has anyone taken this tour?

 

Another possibility is the Parrot Jungle Island tour on our own. Can we easily get a taxi to the airport from there?

We had a late flight last time... thru Carnival we booked the SOuth Beach tour and it entailed a drive around SB then we got off the bus and had 2 hours for walking, lunch etc.... the bus then took us directly to the airport....

On my Voyager cruise over Thanksgiving I prepaid for this tour and it was cancelled due to "lack of interest". So please have a Plan B if you are counting on RCI to get your back to the airport, just in case!
